Wonderful vintage ticking in cucumber green. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. All the fabric is dotted with flowers linked to form garlands with ribbons and bows. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is dense cotton and at the same time very soft. It is a resistant fabric with a beautiful drape.

CONDITION
Good condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Minimal scuffing Some significant tears towards the middle. Slightly worn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. With hand mendings. The rip and patch are right in the center of the piece. Otherwise it is perfect and wonderful.
