Beautiful vintage ticking in an intense garnet color with a motif of large chrysanthemums and acanthus leaves. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton. The designs have a clear oriental influence. Very much to the taste of the French Art Nouveau of the nineteenth century.
ROSARIO SAYS: "It has been a discovery to find this Unused fabric, when before we already had the same pattern in recovered fabrics"
