Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) with beige and blue stripes with thin lines in white and yellow. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. It has a delicious combination of colors. The herringbone weave reinforces visual linearity and at the same time makes it very consistent. A sober and cheerful fabric at the same time.
