Gorgeous vintage blue and gray striped ticking with some thin white stripes. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. It is a very cheerful fabric with a bright blue.

CONDITION
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Some random discolored areas. See the photos.
