Beautiful vintage ticking in red with a chinoiserie pattern. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of cotton. Here we see chrysanthemums, flowering trees, bridge and river, some eastern buildings, etc.

CONDITION
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact.
