Delightful vintage ticking in a vivid imperial red color with a floral motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton. A set of simple bouquets of small flowers dot the entire fabric.

CONDITION
Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. Only extremely superficial marks consistent with age and history. Very pleasant hand moldable texture. This fabric is unwashed and has the original sizing. Selvages preserved intact. Some thread imperfections from the textile weave that do not affect the integrity of the fabric but attest to its old age. Some marks in the center folding line from storage ~ yet these are only visible on the reverse. Absolute perfection!
