Fabulous vintage ticking in a vivid pine green color with a motif of exotic nature. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton. Dense and strong textile perfect for upholstery projects. The designs of this fabric take us to the Orient: cherry blossoms, waterfalls and bridges, exotic birds, etc. Designs very much to the taste of the French Art Nouveau of the nineteenth century. This wonderful fabric has both sides equally beautiful and ready to use. On the front the white color stands out enormously against the green and on the reverse it is the green that stands out from the rest of the jacquard texture. We have this same fabric in Pink, Blue, Red, Green, Brown.

CONDITION
Unused. Excellent condition. Original condition unaltered. Only extremely superficial wear consistent with age and history. Minimal pale storage or age marks on the center fold. This fabric is pre-shrunk. Selvages preserved intact.
