Magnificent vintage ticking in pineapple yellow with a motif of large white lilies set in a delicate garland reminiscent of bobbin lace. It is a European damask fabric from the mid-1900s. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric made of cotton. It is a very original pattern that mixes realistic flower designs with stereotypical designs.
ROSARIO SAYS: “In the design of the patterns for these fabrics made with jacquard, the fuller the surface was with various designs, the more value the fabric had. This textile is a clear example. And also very accomplished”
