Beautiful vintage ticking with green, gray and white stripes. It is a European fabric made around 1940 with herringbone weave (twill). This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is a light to medium weight cotton. Beautiful for interior decoration. Perfect combination of green and gray tones.

CONDITION
Unused. Fair condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. throughout the piece. This fabric is unwashed and has quite some sizing (starch). Selvages preserved intact. This fabric has some pale storage marks in the center folding line and also throughout the piece here and there. They may wash out but not fully disappear - otherwise the body of the piece is in lovely antique condition as factory original! All condition reflected in the price. Maybe not for everyone - but special for those who want to incorporate the imperfections often present in these beautiful antique textiles.
