Beautiful vintage ticking in olive green with a motif of large white flowers that look like chrysanthemums. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This fabric made of cotton. Dahlias and chrysanthemums appear in many Japanese motifs, a very fashionable representation of 1900 in Europe. (Art Nouveau, Modernisme). The chrysanthemum is one of the symbols of Japan.

This is a piece of 140 × 380 cm (58" × 150" / 4.2 yards) that I am selling per length. Each purchase measures: 140 × 72 cm (58" × 28” / 0.79 yards). Multiple purchases are delivered in one piece.
CONDITION
Excellent condition. Very large piece that can be very well used. It is an antique textile that’s never been used. No eyelets. A few pale storage marks. Both selvedges preserved intact. Exceptional and extremely rare! It is as found, unwashed and unused condition, most fabulous indeed!
