Rare vintage blue and white striped ticking. It is a European damask fabric, around 1930-1940. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is lightweight type cotton. In the blue band the jacquard fabric draws abstract shapes that represent grape bunches and outlined leaves. Particularly soft and drooping fabric. We have this same fabric in burgundy wine color

CONDITION
Fair condition. Moderate wear. Original color. Slight stains towards the edges. Some friction on the sides. No tears. Perfect hand-sewn buttonholes. Especially soft fabric. With original borders.
