Extraordinary vintage ticking in maroon color. It is a European damask fabric from around the 60s. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of cotton. Large flowers interspersed throughout the piece with smaller ones and with rhomboid garlands.

Distressed. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Not at all perfect but with the imperfections often present in these beautiful antique textiles.
