Beautiful vintage ticking in sky blue color. It is a European damask fabric from the 1900s. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. These fabrics are cotton, medium weight and resistant (but very soft!). Perfect textile for small decorative projects, appliques, toiletry bags, cushions, etc.

Designs of children's toys or animals flutter on a pale blue sateen background. The designs are simple compared to other fabrics in our store. It is the only fabric with a children’s character of the many that we know. Hence its rarity.

Good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Slightly worn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Very large piece that can be very well used. An exceptional piece. Very tender and incredibly rare scene!
