Original and delicious vintage ticking in a very pale warm yellow. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is heavyweight cotton. The pattern is very original, it is presented in vertical bands with flower garlands and ribbons that surround delicate swans.

CONDITION
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Some small pea sized holes towards the bottom edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets.
