Original antique ticking in a very light yellow color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950 with a Versailles pattern. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is very soft cotton. The designs are reminiscent of the drawings and patterns of French fabrics such as Toile de Jouy. We get to see a romance story of a prince and a princess (and a dog!).

CONDITION
#1 - Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. A significant tear towards the bottom edge. Both selvages preserved intact. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Wonderful piece, in excellent antique condition. No eyelets. A scuff/tear towards the bottom - otherwise perfect. Very soft and moldable. It will be a pleasure to work with this textile.
