Wonderful vintage lilac and pink striped ticking. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 from herringbone weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (from the French “coutil”). It is made of light to medium weight cotton. Extremely difficult to find!
