Excellent and antique Finnish ticking with orange and blue stripes. It is an old twill fabric, on a manual loom 54 cm wide. It is a very dense twill to contain goose feathers and on the reverse it is slightly flannel like other textiles of the time. It is from the 1930s, as seen in The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas.

CONDITION
Excellent condition. It has only a slight wear and tear in accordance with its age and history, but it does not present structural problems. The width is made up of two long strips joined in the center, indicating that it was made on a narrow loom. This usually indicates the age of the textile. Exceptional and extremely rare! An absolutely beautiful piece.
