Wonderful vintage ticking in a vivid golden orange color with a motif of large roses or peonies. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton. We have this same fabric in Pink, Yellow, Blue.

Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. Only extremely superficial wear consistent with age and history. This fabric is unwashed and has quite a bit of sizing. Selvages preserved intact.
