Original and delicious vintage light carnation pink ticking. It is a European damask fabric from around 1960. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is heavy cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, which require a strong fabric. The pattern is very original, it is presented in vertical bands with flower garlands and ribbons that surround delicate swans. The most fabulous find!

The height of the pattern is 46 cm ~ the swan with ribbon measures approx. 19x20 cm.

CONDITION
Good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. With the authentic brass eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Some minor scuffs and pin sized holes here and there, please see the photos. Strong but soft texture. It has a beautiful back with great contrast of colors. The warp thread, in pink color, gives it a glossy look. Extremely beautiful and rare!
One half has no eyelets over the swans (Half A), and the other half has eyelets over some of the swans (Half B).
