Extraordinary soft pink antique ticking with a motif of large white chrysanthemums. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This textile, recovered and freshly laundered, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is a medium to heavy weight cotton. Dahlias and chrysanthemums appear in many oriental motifs, fashionable in 1900s Europe. (Art Nouveau, Modernisme)
ROSARIO SAYS: “Each bouquet of these flowers is the perfect size to be the center of a cushion or for the back or seat of a chair”
