Beautiful vintage ticking fabric with stripes in different shades of beige, brown, red, black and white. The years have given it a wonderful aged patina. It is a durable European fabric made around 1950 from herringbone weave. In In the past they called these resistant fabrics for mattress covers “cutís” (from the French “coutil”).
It is light to medium weight cotton. The spikelet has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture, and it also makes it very consistent.
ROSARIO SAYS: “An elegant combination of colors and widths of the stripes!!!"
