Beautiful vintage ticking in aged red with an oriental motif. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of cotton. The designs recall the drawings and patterns of French fabrics such as Toile de Jouy and Indianas due to the arrangement of the pieces. On this textile, the motifs are very original: horsemen in battle, dancers, camel riders. Arab architecture and palm trees frame the scenes.

ROSARIO SAYS: "The motifs are so beautiful and original and they tell us a story that makes up for the age marks"
