Beautiful vintage ticking in red. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is cotton, lightweight. On a delicious damask fabric we see baroque garlands with flowers and ribbons with small bouquets of muguet.

Good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Some pale marks towards the top edge. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Very large piece that can be very well used.
