Fascinating Swedish ticking fabric in brown and blue stripes and other red stripes that give it great visual warmth. This ticking fabric is very dense and soft at the same time. The cotton yarn finishes as well as the weave and colors make this a unique piece with a soft, shiny exterior and a plush interior. Originally the cover was stuffed with feathers, (there is still some left on the back).

CONDITION
Excellent condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. A few very pale marks. The width is formed by two long strips joined in the middle, which indicates that it was made on a narrow loom. Normally indicative of the antiquity of the textile. Exceptional and extremely rare! It is as found, unwashed condition, most fabulous indeed!
