Gorgeous vintage red and greenish gray striped ticking with some thin white stripes and blue. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright strawberry red.
