Great vintage ticking in a vivid cherry red color with a floral motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton. Dense and strong textile. Open roses and buds are here and there on the fabric. It has a beautiful backhand, with a vivid contrast between red and white.

Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. Only extremely superficial wear consistent with age and history. This fabric is unwashed and has quite a bit of sizing. Selvages preserved intact.
