Charming vintage ticking with mint green and pink stripes with some thin white and red lists. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (french "coutil") from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It's a medium-weight cotton fabric. It has a delicious combination of colors.

Good condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Pale fading.Some pale marks towards the side seams. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. A small tear towards the side seams. One intact selvage. With hand mendings. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Without eyelets, but with stitching at the bottom and top from the original tape.
