Lovely light pink, gray striped vintage ticking with some thin yellow stripes. It is a European twill fabric called Cutí (or in French “coutil”) from around 1940. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a light-medium weight cotton fabric.

Excellent condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Absolutely perfect piece, Only some pale fading towards the bottom edge but that does not affect the integrity of the piece. Very cheerful and vibrant color! This textile has aged beautifully. Lovely patina. Exquisite!
