Beautiful vintage striped ticking in an elegant Prussian blue color. It is a European fabric made around 1950. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton.

CONDITION
Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. Only extremely superficial wear consistent with age and history. This fabric is unwashed and has quite a bit of sizing. Selvages preserved intact. Please note: This fabric is special because it is lightweight, yet it has quite a lot of sizing (starch), which gives it a somewhat stiffer hand. Best typically for firm treatments, such as roman shades, or to upholster chairs, ottomans, or structured pillows, such as bolsters, bench cushions, etc. potentially with a backing. We recommend to only dry clean this fabric if you want it to keep its firm texture. It is possible, however, to wash this fabric, but the texture will transform into a fluid drape almost like a voile, then, mostly apt for very light fabrications, such as kitchen curtains and similar.
