Wonderful vintage ticking in a vivid orange-red color with a plant motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of cotton. Elongated leaves in the shape of feathers are geometrically distributed across the fabric. It has a beautiful backhand, with a vivid contrast between red and white.

CONDITION
Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. Only extremely superficial wear consistent with age and history. Very nice hand moldable texture. This fabric is unwashed and has the original sizing. Selvages preserved intact.
