Beautiful vintage ticking with red and beige stripes with some thin white stripes. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright red.

#1 - Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. A small tear towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Specially soft fabric.
