Delicious vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in a faded bubblegum pink. It is a European damask fabric from around 1920. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This cotton fabric is lightweight and extra soft! Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. Here we can see a set of Chinoiserie elements: A woman playing a shakuhachi flute, flowers such as lanterns, hanging lanterns, etc.

#1 - 118 × 142 cm (47" × 56" / 1.55 yards)
#2 - 58 × 142 cm (23" × 56" / 1.55 yards)
#3 - 54 × 124 cm (22" × 49" / 1.36 yards)

CONDITION
#1 - Fair condition. Ticking in good condition with some marks. Pale fading. With the authentic hand-sewn eyelets. Some light scuffs and two more prominent tears towards the bottom and left center of the piece. In the areas where it is good it is gorgeous and in beautiful antique condition. The piece is large so I have left it as is so one can make the most use of it. A delightful piece. Exquisite! Freshly laundered and ready to use.
