- Wonderful vintage ticking fabric of a vivid golden orange color with a motif of big roses or peonies. It is a European damask fabric manufactured circa 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It's medium weight cotton. I Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. When washing this fabric it is especially fluffy. This is due to the type of knitted jacquard.
