Unused. Excellent condition. Original condition unaltered. May have only extremely superficial marks consistent with age and history. Pale fading or storage discoloration in the center folding line. Firm texture. This fabric is unwashed and has quite some sizing (starch). Selvages preserved intact.
- Beautiful UNUSED vintage ticking fabric of an coffee brown color with an exotic nature motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured circa 1950 to make mattress covers.
This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. and is heavy and dense cotton. Dense and strong textile perfect for upholstery projects. The designs of this fabric take us to the east: cherry blossoms, waterfalls and bridges, exotic birds, etc. Very tasteful designs of the French Art Nouveau of the 19th Century. We have this same pattern in pink, blue, red, green, and brown.
