Excellent condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Beautiful eyelets neatly sewn by hand. Soft yet firm texture. With a beautiful reverse with great color contrast. An exceptional piece, incredibly rare! Each width has 4 swans ~ and the pattern repeat is 45 cm (~17”) high. The swan with ribbon is approx. 18x20 cm.
- Original and delicious vintage soft dusty rose / salmon pink ticking fabric. It is a European damask fabric from around 1960. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is heavy cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, which require a strong fabric. The pattern is very original, it is presented in vertical bands with flower garlands and ribbons that surround delicate swans. The most fabulous find!
