Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Some pale marks towards the bottom edge. Minimal scuffing towards the top edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Original back patches.
- Gorgeous vintage red and greenish gray striped ticking fabric with some thin white stripes and blue. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright strawberry red.
