  • Description
  • How To Shop
  • Unusual vintage mattress fabric (ticking) with red and white stripes along with another gray multi-stripe area. It is a European damask fabric, around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is medium type cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. In the red band, the jacquard fabric draws abstract shapes that represent bunches of grapes and sketched leaves. Especially soft and drapey fabric. We have this same fabric in cobalt blue.

ROSARIO SAYS: “I am fascinated by the originality of this fabric, mixing the abstract jacquard pattern with the design of longitudinal stripes”.
