Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Original color. One area with some more prominent scuffs towards the center and bottom right corner. The rest of the piece is excellent. Gorgeous bright color. Super soft texture. Still large and very usable. Delicious! All condition reflected in the price.
- Wonderful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in taupe, white, different pink stripes. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (from the French "coutil")
It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for interior design and decoration projects. The herringbone has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture
