  • How To Shop
  • Wonderful vintage beige, pink and white striped mattress fabric (ticking) with a discreet geometric pattern on the color band. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutí" (from the French "coutil"). It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The spikelet has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.

ROSARIO SAYS: "I love how a wide area is used to place a jacquard weave and add a touch of originality"
