Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. A small tear towards the side seams. One intact selvage. Specially soft fabric. No eyelets! A very rare find, usable continuously. Not at all perfect, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful old textiles. Perfect for cushions, tablecloths, napkins.
- Wonderful vintage beige, pink and white striped mattress fabric (ticking) with a discreet geometric pattern on the color band. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutí" (from the French "coutil"). It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The spikelet has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.
