    Condition: Fair
    Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Several pale age marks dotted around. Some small pea sized holes towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Some important areas of fading / discoloration particularly towards the selvedges and the bottom area. One weaving imperfection towards the middle. A small rust mark towards the bottom and some discoloration in one of the eyelets. Please see the photos. Not at all perfect, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful antique textiles. Still a very large piece and very usable - Beautiful!

  • Beautiful vintage beige and green striped ticking fabric with some thin red and white stripes. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. It has an elegant color scheme.
