Magnificent gray vintage mattress ticking fabric with a pattern of original birds. It is a European damask fabric from the first half of the 1900s. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a wool mattress cover. This fabric is medium weight cotton. Here we see schematized birds and flowers.
