Remarkable! Beautiful burgundy vintage ticking fabric. It is a European damask fabric from around the 1900s. These pieces, recovered and freshly washed, were part of a mattress cover. These fabrics are cotton, strong weight and sturdy (but very soft!). Perfect textiles for small decorative projects, appliques, necessities, cushions, bags, etc. With a pattern of cherry blossom branches and fluttering swallows. Also in this fabric appear the oriental themes so fashionable Art Nouveau.

#2 - 63 × 130 cm (25" × 52" / 1.44 yards)
#3 - 49 × 170 cm (20" × 67" / 1.86 yards)

CONDITION
Ticking in good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Faint fading. Minimal scuffing. With the authentic hand-sewn eyelets. Lovely. Freshly laundered and ready to use.
