Delicious vintage ticking in pink. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. Pattern of large and small flowers: Peonies, thrush and some schematic acanthus leaves. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is extra soft and lightweight cotton.

#3 - 105 × 60 cm (42" × 24" / 0.66 yards)

CONDITION
#2 - Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the middle. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Specially soft fabric. Selvages somewhat deteriorated by areas. Not at all perfect, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful old textiles. Perfect for lumbar cushions!
