Swedish ticking in Olive, Red, and White Stripes. Antique Swedish ticking with a beautiful combination of stripes in olive, light olive, red and white lists, with a special ombre effect. It is woven in cotton twill - nice and sturdy! Wonderful for upholstery.

WHY IT’S SOLD THIS WAY
These textiles come from old cover textiles, traditionally woven on narrow handlooms. To achieve the desired width, two long strips were often joined in the middle. We carefully unpick these pieces, preserving both selvedges intact, to offer them as individual lengths. This gives you flexibility to purchase fabric in manageable widths while preserving the authenticity and larger fabric quantity.

CONDITION
Excellent condition. It is an antique textile without defects, probably never used. The width is formed by two long strips joined in the middle, which indicates that it was made on a narrow loom. Normally indicative of the antiquity of the textile. Exceptional and very rare! It is as found, unused condition, most fabulous indeed!
