Beautiful vintage ticking with red and beige stripes with some thin white stripes. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This textile, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright red.

130 cm wide × 90 cm long (52" × 36" / 1 yards)

CONDITION
Ticking in fair condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history. A few pale marks. Minimal scuffing. A small tear towards the middle. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Specially soft fabric.
