For collectors, artists, or creative hands! Lovely vintage white and brown striped ticking fabric. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from around 1960. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. Mix sobriety and elegance. The satin fabric makes it very moldable. We have this same stripe pattern in other colors.

CONDITION
Distressed. Fragility, marks, scuffs, tears, etc. Panel #1 is more intact. Panel #2 has a tear in the middle, many marks, scuffs, and holes. See photos. Sold as is.
