Excellent vintage ticking fabric with sky blue, white and taupe gray stripes. It is a European cuti twill fabric (from the French “coutil”) from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light weight cotton. The weave gives it a fantastic drape and makes it very moldable. The originality of these colors stands out.
