Wonderful vintage beige ticking with red and white stripes. It is a European twill fabric from the early 1900s. This textile, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. The herringbone weave reinforces visual linearity.

CONDITION
Ticking in good condition. Very soft fabric. The years have made it soft and loving. Some minor scuffs on the sides. Some pale marks. Nice eyelets in red but quite worn. Only one row of eyelets.
