Lovely vintage ticking fabric with blue and white squares and red stripes. This is a durable European fabric manufactured in the early 1900s. In twill weave. It is made of medium weight cotton. It is a dense fabric perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The color and mendings give a delicious Farmhouse air.

Weavers have always looked for ways to make original, curious and different fabrics and have known how to take advantage of the resources of the techniques they had until now. That is why it is not surprising that this similarity in terms of design, if not technique, with the old American quilts of the 1800s.”
